I made a video to demonstrate the workflow using a touch probe to indicate all 3 axes, and machine a part without measuring (until the end). I machined a simple cube with a hole in the center. This is what I've been wanting to be able to do with this... Use the touch probe to quickly set all my references, pick a tool, and go.
The cube ends up about a thou and a half oversize, which given that it's consistent in all 3 axes, is likely due to my own errors in setting the tool heights in the library. I think I get a little bit of movement when I lock the head, which threw off the offsets that TDRO generated.
