Although I bet some of you could have gotten this lot for something like $50, down here in TX, I think I am "lucky" to have found all of this for $400:
There are quite a few of taps and drills, as well as a fair deal of mills. Also some reamers. The boxes and pouches contain telescopic, radius and small hole gages and a set of adjustable parallels. the boxes contain a depth gage, big blocks, more taps, and an indicator. Most of the items (if not all) are branded as Mitutoyo, Starret or Yuasa. That's why I think it was kind of a good deal.
A good portion of the mills (pretty much all the used ones) are not sharp. Some of them, I imagine the carbide ones, are even chipped! Not extremely happy about this, but it was tough to evaluate every single item under a garage sale setting. There is a fair number of new ones, though.
Overall I think I did OK. Although I have seen plenty of posts in this forum where for $400 some of you would have acquired all of this plus a machine shop on the side ;-)
