My godfather was a bit of a jokester. He lived along side a busy highway in central Wisconsin. He built a replica of an old fashioned well, complete with shingled roof and hand crank and put a large spring from a railroad car in the bottom. He posted a sign on the well with "SPRING" in large letters on it.

He managed to snag quite a few thirsty travelers with it.
