This has been needed for quite some time. And today I had the time. 416 SS w/ exception of the ball ends, annealed bearings, drilled and tapped. One ball end is knurled and that tightens things up. The other two handles are thread locked to the collar.

The rod ends impinge on the hex drive shaft. Plenty of material for reface as things wear.

Very nice! I need to make something like that for my Rockwell. The handle that I have now is too long. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks. I do a lot of monotonous production runs where the handle cannot be set aside. I needed an unobtrusive handle that locks to the drive shaft and will not slide off when bumped.
