Here is just a post with terrible things to edit.... go for it!
 
Thanks John, I see there are options to notify the user. I wan't sure if clicking on edit would automatically make the post show as edited and notify the OP
 
@DavidR8 Feel free to try everything out, such as deleting this post, with all the options. I'll know you are trying things, and that give you more confidence. All good
