I just wanted to say how much I enjoy this forum. I frequent several machining sites and this is becoming my fav, I feel welcome plus I am a amateur machinist so I fit the "mold" here. I farm and work at a seed corn facility so use my machines for fabrication but still enjoy them in a home shop type environment. I think I will post some pictures later of my small shop. I don't have very much room because I used a small area in the barn which had a concrete floor. It was easy to heat and easy to keep the humidity low with a small dehumidifier.
My list of machine tools;
Clausing 8520 vertical mill
Clausing 8550 Horizontal mill
Linley jig borer
Clausing 4910 10X36 lathe

These are all excellent tools that I have acquired in the last 20 years to use in repair, etc.
I have enjoyed all the excellent work I view here plus the members seem very giving.

Welcome to the friendly machinist site. Your right about this forum, everyone tries to make everyone else feel comfortable and welcome. There is a lot of us beginners here but there are some professionals also. You can get lots of good help and information here while having a good time.
