Both of my lathes are missing the clamp for the taper attachment. I ordered some aluminum to make one, but I'd love to see what the original looked like.

I've got a 16" and 14" lathe.

Anyone have that part?

I'm planning on reinstalling my taper attachment on my 1917 Mulliner Enlund tomorrow.

I cleaned up the taper attachment on the Mulliner Enlund yesterday and this morning. It's operating very smoothly.

I got most of the taper attachment on the Carroll Jamieson cleaned up, but I got stuck with grand kid duty.

There is a chuck of aluminum 1 1/2" x 2"x 8" on its way to build the clamp that holds the slide. I'm hoping 2" of bearing surface will be enough.

Once I'm off grand kid duty I'm going to run out and finish cleaning and work on the design.
