FYI Joann Fabrics has these thing storage boxes on sale, they are buy one get one free in store and online. Only 1” tall so no wasted space.

I like those simple organizers.

I went this direction. The drawers allow me to keep spare tap drills in with the taps. Not necessary but it's nice to have them right there.

I’m not a fan of open storage. It collects too much gunk. I dont do enough tapping to justify taking the bits out of the labeled kit. The portability of the storage boxes is nice too.

Those two shelves saved me huge amounts of time. I couldn't do this in a nasty dirty shop but it's excellent for my shop. Quick access makes all the difference.

If I was still at the die shop at the forge I'd do this in a cabinet to keep it clean.
