Machtach has a group on yahoo ... http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MachTach/?yguid=2078078. There were "out of stock" issues for a long time but they claim to now have it all under control.

Here is another manufacturer ... http://mkctools.com/tachulator.htm ... More money but it is not a kit.

Thanks guys! I was going to make my own tach for the lathe but this will save me some time and probably money as well. (I have a background in electronics engineering, still like to dabble with it a bit.)

I'll maybe write up a "review" of the MachTach kit, 1/2 size, when I put it together.
