i want to machine the super man logo but i'm not sure how to aquire the dimensions, angles and arcs that make it up. Can anyone help?

Some CAD programs can import image files and you can get the dimensions you need from there. Use Google to find some original artwork.

With a rastor to vector program you can take any clip art, open it, convert it to a dxf and then export it back to your cad program and have all the info you need to make it. There are several sites that will allow you to do this and send it back to your email free.
