Strange parts

I got these unidentifiable parts with the Atlas lathe I just picked up. Here is a picture of the lathe and the parts that I have no idea of what they are. They were painted the same ugly blue as the lathe. I thought maybe they’re something for the lathe or were just there when the guy was painting and he just thought “what the heck, I’ll paint these things, too!”

they look like paint scraper blades maybe?

probably some kind of hold downs - they might have been used to secure the lathe to a stand, especially if it was a stand made out of pipe.
 
Both replies are interesting. I’m pretty sure they’re not any part of the lathe. They’ll go in the spare parts box for now.

Coupler for connecting two shafts.
 
They must be just some random parts that were near the lathe as the guy was painting the lathe and he thought "what the heck, I'll paint these parts, too!"
