Gene,

That is a great looking restoration job and fine looking machine. I just wish I could figure out how it works and what you would do with it.

Can you tell us or show us some examples?

Steve

Looks amazing. You can come and fix up any of my machines if you get bored. ;)

I'd be interested in knowing more of the function as well. Also, do you have any pics of what it was like before you started on it?

Nice job!

You did a beautiful job! I would also like to see some examples/video of what you can do with that machine if you have the time:))

Nice job. I like the color choice instead of the original battleship grey. I don't see any markings on it, but the base looks like a Gorton I used to have. What is the make and model? I believe these were use for ornamental engraving, when do we get a demonstration?

I am still working on a vice as well as pattern bars for my application, should have it up and running next week, the only markings on it are Hall mfg. Providence RI. Not sure of model number or year of mfg. but I would guess late 1930's to mid 1940, I build custom hand made golf putters so I plan to use this for ornimetal engraving on inserts made from copper, nickel silver, silver and other materials, I hate dark equipment and this machine was in ok shape but black in color. I paint most of my equipment the same color which is dove grey. I had to do a lot of hand scraping and make a few parts/upgrades for this machine, but am very happy with how it is turning out so far.

This is the first effort with this machine, it will be a face insert for one of the putters I make, this is brass.

Wow! that effect is beautiful. How long did it take you to do it with that machine?
