Recently came across a Sterling Power Hacksaw, and though I would share some photos. It takes a 12" hacksaw blade, appears to be complete. The large main power may not be original; what photos in magazines that I have seen so far show it to be wider for a power take off belt and spokes that are curved. Anyway, it will be a nice Summer project to go through and get operational. I was just able to find a couple new blades in this size. About the same time I got the Sterling, I also bought a Craftsman power hacksaw, but that will be another thread.

Nice find. My Sterling has led a rougher life. The main beam has been broken and brazed together and the counter shaft with its gearing is gone. Dad fixed it up with a gearbox hanging off the back and a chain drive. Works very well. I think you will like it.

Beautiful machine....looks really complete and appears to have lived a very good life. That will be a work of art if you decide to clean it up!
