The mating surfaces on the spindle pulley and small spindle gear of my Atlas MFC are in bad shape. There is just enough of the "teeth" left on each to engage, but if I put a heavy load on cutter they will skip. I called Clausing but they don't have those parts available.

I'd like to know what the teeth on the small gear and the pulley are supposed to look like. The teeth on mine are ugly. Does anyone have a closeup photo?

Here is an illustration. The "teeth" are circled. They are the interlocking tabs that couple the small gear to the pulley. I'd like to see a better photo/drawing of them.

I don't know if this helps? Without taking the spindle out this is as good as I could get.
I will be pulling this machine apart in the next couple weeks though.
