Hello Everyone
Just joined a few weeks ago and have not had time to post anything. Now that I’m off until 1-4-19 I have the time now. First I will say I’m no Machinist, I’m an Electrician by trade but, I always have been interested in maching. I am seriously thinking about buying a Smithy 3 in 1 combo. The main reason is it come with some tooling that I will need to start out with and from what I read they have good customer support. Does any one have any knowledge, experience with the Smithy Granite 1340 I-Max. From what read I think it would be a good machine to start out on. I want to use it for hobby reason like making toy trucks for the grandkids or thinks around the house but also would like to try gunsmithing as well. Any input, bad or good would be appriecated. I just dont want to buy a mistake and have a machine in my shop that will take up space and nerver be used because it ended up being a piece of junk.
Thanks in advance
