Should I make an offer on this Sherline?

I didn't really know where to post this. It could go in the Sherline folder, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of action there. Or maybe the CNC folder, or tooling, or ???
In any case, there is this ad on the semi-local craigslist that has popped up again. (I guess it didn't sell the first couple times he listed.) So now I'm thinking maybe it's time for a lowball offer?
I've already got a standard Enco import mill/drill with a bu##load of tooling, and not a lot of room left in the shop, so I'd probably have to sell it if I bought this:

Sherline Mod. #2000. Includes IMS Service System 4B (imsrv.com). Operates w/ Windows XP, controls lathe, mill & router. Includes 9' heavy duty cord w/ computer cable. Also has 3 additional Globe motors & reducer attached. Includes table & extra brackets. This is the mill for those who want to take their abilities to the extreme.

The pic seems to show a CNC milliing setup, as does the description. No computer in the pic so I'd have to find an old beater with XP or a new CAD program. It doesn't look like it's a very robust machine, or very big either. Asking price is $1100. Is it worth it? Is it worth $900? $600? $2.50 and all furry lifesavers in my jeans pocket?

$1100 is at the lowest end of the range for a CNC mill, but then the sherline is at the low end in rigidity and work envelope.
I will not do that your mill-drill will do.

But it's still interesting at that range. I'd offer $800

JOE_M,
I got the 2000 mill and the lathe also, it's not to bad for small stuff, but does not fit my needs too much for the stuff I do but I do use it sometimes for small stuff. I got both for free and the computer also. The lathe was still in the box and the mill was only used a few times. I came with a lot of extras too so I got it. It turns out that a friend of mine tried to play machinist, but it did not work for him even with plastic so that's why he gave it to me. The machines are under Sherline with my screen name I think, if not maybe under Gallery.
