Hold the part of the shank that drives the reamer (sometimes has flats on it) loosely in a vise and drive against the shank at the cutting end of the reamer with a drift. If one has a press, that is an even better method. Some reamer shanks have a screw and nut arrangement incorporated in the driver to force the reamer off the taper.
