Sheldon Wm56p With The Worthington Variable Speed Drive

I have a Sheldon WM56P with the Worthington Variable Speed Drive. Does anyone have the procedure for changing out the Variable Speed Belts? If not has anyone ever done it that can offer some advice?

If the Worthington drive is anything like a Reeves drive, it can be a royal pain to change out. Just depends on what you run into, lots of crud, probably has worn out bushings, etc., to deal with. You may have to remove the motor/reeves unit out from under the lathe to work on it. I notice you posted over on the Sheldon Yahoo group, should be someone there that can help you out. Ken
