Hi all,
I'm working on a radius cutting attachment for my lathe and I am down to building the insert holder. I am planning on using an RCGT0803 because I am already using that insert for another tool I have. If I'm not mistaken, it should use an M3x0.5 screw. I check Carbide Depot and the page for my insert holder says is uses the TS3 but then shows pictures of both the M3x0.2 and the M3x0.5. I was hoping someone here might be able to point me in the right direction. What screw should I be using? Where would be a good place to pick one up? I ask because that TS3 from Carbide depot is $2.34 for a single screw and then there is ground shipping which is $12.85. For. A. Screw.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

That seems an over the top expensive shipping price for one screw ! Being this is a G rated site , I won't tell you they're ******* you over it seems ;).

Nah, I get it, they are drop shipping and that's the standard shipping rate minimum. I mean, what kind of sociopath buys 1 screw? Oh, wait...
Serriously, if anybody has an alternative to the $16 option from Carbide Depot, I'm all ears.

I did not look at all of the listings, but it seemed to be cheaper....

The screws are tapered seat, so that is important, I think it is industry standard..

I bought a full selection of screws anvils and posts from alli express. If you can afford the wait get a bunch of different sizes. The quality seems fine haven't stripped or broken any yet.

So, for everyone following this, I ended up grabbing the Mitsubishi part off MachiningCloud. It was $10 shipping for $4 worth of screws (I bought two so I have a spare) but I wasn't finding anything better.
