Upper Midwest Scraping & Rebuilding Class September 15-20th, Tamarack MN

Last weeks scraping / rebuilding class was a success by all the metrics we normally use in adult education.
Dennis Danich has interest in promoting another class September 15-20th in Tamarack MN.
First three days will be learning to scrape and then we will begin a discussion of machine tool geometry.
During this session we will be focusing on a Southbend lathe. Regardless, the concepts of alignment and fit are the same.
As all participants will be here evenings and breakfast will be filled with discussion.
We are hoping for three Learners.

No takers on this rebuild event so the week has morphed into a foundry and casting. Alum, brass and maybe alum bronze.
Looks like we've got 3 locals coming. If one of the HM is interested please PM for details.
There is conversation about a spring 2025 rebuild class. If there is any potential interest in a rebuild class. Please let me know and we might be able to work around your needs/schedule.
