Once again the shop tools bailed me out. A six inch roller on the flail mower broke the welded cap. The hardest part was to align the pieces because of the 1 3/4 inch shaft that runs through the middle. The mower was off and going before I could take a finished picture.
My dad's flail mower would break off the studs that held the flails. It didn't take many losses of these to seriously unbalance the mower. As the welder, I was recruited for the save!
