Just purchased and brought home a Delta / Rockwell (1965 vintage) model 25-210 14" x 40" lathe.
It came with a 3-jaw chuck and a 4-jaw Rockwell chuck. Very good condition. Steady rest, and Tool Post also.
Regarding power, I am trying to decide to use a power converter box which is static or a rotary type.
I know that the people at Phase-O-Matic said the static unit will cause a 1/3 loss of power from the electric motor.
The rotary unit will give full power.
What do you all suggest???
If there are any advise / suggestions from current or previous owners of the model 25-210, I would like your advise.
I am looking for some tooling such as a lathe carriage stop and other small items.
Thanks for any help or advise, JJTGrinder
