I wil be retiring (again Iretired from the Coast Gard some time ago ) this summer and trying to stock up on tools and supplies.
I almost have the 1916 SB running. Putting a new 3/4 hp motor on and new belts.
In Dec Ipurchased a large quanty of drill bits (letter and number) and lathe tools and tap and dies the company had them on the shelf collecting dust, I made aoffer and they excepted it (pictures to follow )
I am looking into getting a vertical mill (when the wife looks the other way)

I will tak some pictures of my shop and tooys this weekend,

I haven't regretted retiring at all. I was 67,and didn't care for the new guy that my boss REALLY wanted me to take on. The only thing I regret is not having access to the 19" X 80" lathe. My lathe is 16" X 40",and is a bit cramped for making cannon. But,I don't do that very often anyway.
