On my mill, the outline of all the buttons is now red after the latest update. However, on the lathe, running the same build, they are still white. What would cause this?

Interesting. This means that your tablet on the top is overriding my "theme" settings.
Button border colors are defined in the template file in TouchDRO, which should override default colors. This is a recent change (trying to add "dark" and "light" modes, so I'm now using system font definitions.
Just curious, what is the make/model of the tablet with red buttons?
Regards
Yuriy

They are both Kindle Fire HD 10s. The red one is a 7th Gen while the white one is an 11th Gen.

I suspect that is also why the button size in the edge finder dialog is strange? When I first got the update, all the buttons were huge, but after a reboot, everything went back to normal except this dialog.

Hi, that's a super cool tablet mount setup you have. Did you make this or but it?. I'm looking at options for a 10 inch tablet for my soon to arrive Touch DRO adapter

I am going to post an article to the website in a day or two (once I take the photos) with some ideas how to mount the tablet (similar to what I have on my machines). Not as cool looking as Jason's design, though.

It was really easy to make. I just parted off some aluminum round, drilled and tapped a blind hole in the back and cut a notch out for the corner of the tablet to sit in. Repete 4 times and mount them on a piece of aluminum sheet. The only thing I don't like, is removing the tablet from the machine is not super easy.
