Recommended Plastic for motorcycle chain guide?

Hi. Forgive me for a very basic question. I am refurbishing a 1978 Yamaha YZ250 motorcycle, and there are two plastic parts ( on the right in the attached photo) that serve as drive chain guides. Both are extremely worn, and replacements are hard to find. Both would also be fun, easy beginner fabrication projects well within my capability.

The question is simple. What material should I be looking for? The material should machine well, but be as impervious as practical to rubbing from the chain, acknowledging that they are intended to wear instead of causing chain wear. The roller will be supported by small sealed bearings, but the blue part is a stationary rubbing block which will experience frequent contact with the moving chain.

Thoughts?

Had a YZ 490 back in the day . Badass 2 stroker that landed me on my head more than a few times . Lets see some pics ! :encourage:

yep had a yz490 got it cheap because the guy I got it from was scared of it..big and heavy and only a 4 speed. been awhile.

delrin, HDPE, Teflon, ertalyte are all excellent materials for the purpose

Worth reading with regard to UHMWPE, it has replaced other materials used in prosthetic hip replacements for the cup material. Hip replacements use to last around 15 years before the use of UHMWPE, its wear characteristics are about 8-10X less than previous materials.
