Reader red light

Hello,
I have a 7x16 mini lathe and use the kit from little machine shop.
No problems with the z axis reader which lights up green when the system comes on and stays green.
The x axis reader flashes a red light sometimes when the system comes on and then stays off. Other times it comes on green and stays green.
I still get a reading as I move the cross slide.

What does this single red light flash indicate?

Given the kit from Little Machine Shop is an unlicensed rip-off of Touch DRO, I don't know if Yuriy will be able to help, let alone wish to.

I'd suggest contacting LMS since your DRO has nothing to do with TouchDRO or supported by Yuriy.
