Two questions before I start making these QCGB levers from scratch.
Does anybody have or know someone who has 1 or preferably 2 part # 10-1506 levers for a 10" QCGB for sale? I have drawn a blank.
Does anybody have a good drawing and or dimensions for this part ? I have been measuring and remeasuring and come up with what I think is an accurate drawing but it wouldn't hurt to have confirmation.

Harold,

I don't have one nor the drawing. But call Clausing and ask whether or not they have any left. If they do, either buy one or don't. If they don't, ask whether 10-1586 will interchange. The parts lists and photos in the installation manuals are indeterminate as to what the part looks like as some show it one way, some the other and one shows it both ways (the "ways" being either flat sided or I-beam cross section). If they don't have the part, ask for a PDF of the drawing. They probably have it and will usually email it to you if they don't consider the part as still available for sale.

Harold,

I take it, since you asked about the 10-1506, that you have a No. 1500 QCGB. I failed to explain that 10-1586 is shown as the selector lever part number on the second version 10" QCGB (No. 6800) and all three of the 12" ones. Also, from the drawing in the 1500 parts list, I would assume that the 10-1506 was die cast, and so probably Zamak. The two 10-1586 on my 3996 are both cast iron and appear to have been sand cast.
