After spending some time in a friend's machine shop, I find I like operating the machinery. The act of milling, turning, drilling, threading, etc., is somehow satisfying to me, and I very much like doing it. However, I struggle to find projects to make. My friend says...no doubt with some kidding...that in time, I will wonder how I ever got along without a lathe and mill. Haha... It seems like many projects involve the making of more tools and accessories for the lathe or mill. Those are useful and I would surely make some of these, but would like to see what other non-tool projects people have made or uses they have found for their machine tools. That may spawn some ideas for me, and others, as well as providing a venue to showing off what everyone had done.
