Well finally got the big girl home. Thank god for drop bed trailers and toe jacks. Will begin tearing into it soon. Some background on this is it was getting ready to go to scrap and I saw it and it was love at first sight. Has factory taper attachment, missing the shoe. Everyrhing is butter smooth, a broken feed direction handle but I found the broken off chunk in the chip pan so will need to fire up the tig and tig braze it. Does anybody have an ability to pull manf date based on the serial number? Surplus place said this one came off a decomissioned navy ship and based on the brass plates Im guessing its a wartime machine. Will be posting the progress on the machine as I get time to work on it.

Nice haul! I'm in the middle of getting my model C back in action also. Yours has the "sloped head" casting also and looks like it's within a revision or two of mine. Congrats. Following!

Edit: Just realized it's the same one you showed in my thread. lol
