Power while using USB connection source?

So I tried searching for my question, but all I could find was people asking about a power supply recommendation. The power supply choice is pretty straight forward, but what I can't find the answer to is how you power the TouchDRO and Tablet while you are using the USB connection? The TouchDRO uses the USB-C for power and the USB connection to the tablet, so I'm guessing it would just put power from the tablet battery? If I wanted to keep them both charged will an OTG splitter work?

I have a TON of wi-fi and bluetooth IoT devices in my home, so it's like a microwave up in here. I'm not sure I would trust the Bluetooth in this case.

Hopefully my rambling makes sense and hopefully the answer to this wasn't obvious....I honestly tried searching.

Short answer - you can use something like this: https://amzn.to/4e44LD2 (I use one for testing/debugging and it works pretty well). Some "y" cables work too, but those are hit and miss.
Long answer:
1. I know that BlueTooth is new and scary (compared to a steam engine, for example ;) ), it's a VERY mature technology. The stack is designed to work in this sort of "microwave". Bet you a lot of money you have much fewer wireless devices than the office I work at. There are 400-ish people per floor, and almost everyone has a wireless mouse and BT headphones running most of the day with no issues. Not to mention multiple WiFi repeaters, cameras, occupancy sensors, people's phones, etc.
2. TouchDRO is 12 years old, and besides a handful of cases when the transceiver was faulty, I am not aware of any interference issues caused by interference on the BT connection.
3. Before optimizing for a hypothetical problem, try it first and see if it actually is a problem.

Ha! Fair points. My biggest concern is I wanted to mount everything in the base of my lathe, so I was worried about a faraday cage effect. Sounds like I have an option either way, so I'll give it a shot. Thanks!
