Merry Christmas to all!
Now for the question. I know how to post photos from my computer as well as using a url. I am new to Photoshop. I do not know how to get my photos from Photoshop to this forum. I know the answer is perhaps simple but then so am I and any and all help will be appreciated.
Regards

Do you mean Photobucket, the online photo storage site?

As a forum owner, I don't like when people do that. It's much better to upload the photos to the forum, so when you later remove or move the photos in your online albums there is no dead links left in the posts.

I thought the forum owners liked it (Photobucket) because of the needed space savings? I guess I have been doing it wrong then. What sized do we need to make the files to save to the forum?

Some may like it, and some even require it. Nelson may weigh in with his opinion since this is his forum.

The problem, like I stated above is that it can make older posts useless if the photos are moved/removed in Photobucket. Who wants to search older posts just to see red x's where the pictures used to be? When uploaded, the pics become archived withing the post itself.

Yes, I am referring to the online photo storage site.

I don't want to upload a link from Photobucket but rather upload a photo directly if possible. The photos on my Photobucket are also on my computer in a separate folder. I have been loading them on Photobucket in order to arrange the photos more easily in separate albums to facilitate finding them easier. I have been using Picasa for several years but find it cumbersome to use. It may just be that it is not possible to upload directly from Photobucket.

Thanks for the responses to my question.

You cannot "upload" from Photobucket, Picasa, or any other online picture hosting site, you can only link to them. All "uploads" come from your computer.

Kenny is correct. It is best to upload them to our hosted server. That way the pictures stay alive with the post they are associated with.

Thank you. That answers my question precisely.
Thanks again and have a great holiday.
