Not much information about this lathe, looks like it will fit my needs.
The good, the bad and the ugly would be appreciated.

Power cross feed
1.50 spindle bore
Only dislike..
no QCGB, not a deal killer.

Thanks for the input, pulled the trigger and it’s ordered.
Now to find a mill. My G9729 is a good lathe but really hate the time it takes to go from lathe to milling op’s and vice versa.
I’ve set an Igaging absolute 3 axis system on it, it works well.
Will sell the G9729 and have 2 dedicated machines.

That seems to be the trend I've noticed with combo machines. Once you get experience with them, and learn you want to upgrade to dedicated machines. Yours won't be hard to sell, there will be someone who was thinking like you in the beginning who will pick it up. It's like boats, you could always use a bigger one.
