Wondering if these are worth the asking price. Take a look.

Don't know if they are China models or Taiwan models. How to tell?

Date code on lathe is: 13 2
Does that mean February 2013?
Serial on lathe: 121968 if that helps identify.

Mill serial is 1301105 and date code 13 01

Stored for some time, Rust on the bed ways, might clean up....
In storage, no way to see them run.

Opinions?

Throw a number your comfortable with at him and see what develops..........................

They are Chinese not Taiwanese. PM puts a “T” after the model numbers of their machines that are made in Taiwan.
They look to be new machines, I wouldn’t worry too much about them working under power. The 1236 lathe is available with a steel or a cast iron stand. Hard to tell by the pics but it looks like the stamped steel stand and not like the cast stand that mine came with. The add didn’t mention any extras, chucks, vise, tooling?
As mentioned above, if your interested, make an offer.
Looks like you could get a good deal on decent hobby machines.

Thanks for the information. I think I will pass this time, and maybe regret it later.
