PM-833TV quill scale in metric?

Is it supposed to me marked in .02mm increments? Everything else on the machine is .001” increments so that’s confusing.

Weird, must be a factory oops. Though if I were smart I would have converted to metric years ago.
 
Yeah a DRO is on the list after the X-axis power feed.
You will love the X axis power feed. On that topic I also removed the ANNOYING safety spring from the other X handwheel opposite the power feed. I get it, the spring keeps it disengaged so you don't accidentally get wrapped up in it but after cussing that thing for the 40th time REMOVED!!

Yeah I already hate it.
 
It looks like it should be in .001” increments from the manual photos.

Hopefully they can swap it out for me.

I had to go out and look at mine. It's in inches. But you can see the gears are metric as it is 0.102" / rev
