PM 833T quill down-feed adjustment?

My PM 833T quill has a bit of 'backlash'. Is there a way to adjust it and reduce it?

No. It is inherent to the design of the gear mechanism that feeds the quill. I checked with PM about my 833T as it was annoying to me and this is the answer that I received.

My other mill/drill (RF25) has the same "problem" it does not really have an effect when using the machines just annoying.

Thanks, that it what I expected. It is annoying but only a slight issue when drilling.
