Hello!
I just finished a complete conversion of my
new PM-1660TL control box to 24VDC and a bunch of new ice cube relays. Yay!
In the manual for the lathe, they mention in the first run section to rotate the e-stop and listen for the oil pump to turn on, and then observe the oil level in the sight glass.
Soooo, the schematic for the lathe does not show an oil pump, the detailed mechanical diagrams don’t seem to show an electric oil pump and I don’t see any wiring for an oil pump in the control box. I don’t see any other mentions of an oil pump in the manual either.
If the oil pump is mechanical, why would the manual mention that you should hear the oil pump after rotating the e-stop (and before putting running the lathe)?
Thoughts?
