I have a PM-1127VF-LB on its way to me and am looking for some clarity about shipping dimensions. The PM site says it's crate is 28"W X 30"H X 60"L. The shipping carrier's tracking site reports 58 X 36 X 40. I need to be sure it will fit between my pickup's rear wheel wells (42.5") before I pick it up. (I suspect the crate may be on a pallet or skid of some kind.) Thanks for any insight anyone can offer.

This is for the 1228, and I picked it up with my Toyota....
My stand was not assembled so I don't think the height was accurate.

Hi Mike, It should be on there, but they are 55Lx28x28 for the lathe,
about 500 pounds

And if with the stand, the height would be 50

Matt or one of his staff could most likely get you the dimensions with a phone call or email to them. They have been very responsive to my requests similar to what you are looking for.

Heard back from PM. " . . . its on a skid that is 36" Wide . . . ". That's the "extra" detail I was looking for. It will clearly fit between my wheel wells!

Man, eveyone over there really do drive Tacomas eh? :)

I wonder if mikey has a Tacoma too (or some other Toyota)?

I sold the 02 DMax dually when I sold the boat. Ya gotta have a truck for household stuff, 25 miles a gallon :encourage:

I have one and I think you will enjoy it. My only wish is for D-3 chuck mounting but to get that reqired a larger lathe and I don't have the room.
