Please help me identify this mill

I just purchased this mill for my workshop and don't know a thing about it other than it works. The name plate is missing unfortunately. Any idea what it is? Thanks in advance for any help!

The person who I bought it from thought it was for this mill. He acquired the mill and a bunch of machinery from a house that he was in charge of flipping. The family just wanted all the equipment out of the garage.

I’ve spent hours on the internet trying to ID the mill but can’t find anything close. There’s a big sticker on the side that someone made that says Kemp Smith but I still haven’t found anything similar.

Have you tried searching “Kempsmith” as one word? Here’s a start from Vintage Machinery, I haven’t looked at it yet but looks like it may be a Canadian machine. Lots of machine hits on Google images using Kempsmith as well.

What it is is a very nice looking horizontal vertical mill. There was a discussion about Kempsmith mills years ago on Practical Machinist and the company is still going and has all its old records: https://www.kempsmith-dl.com/partsService.php you could contact them with your photographs and see what they have to say.
