My wife has some old glider porch furniture that belonged to her Grandmother. The frame has rotted out on this stuff. I got a fab shop here to bend some of it but they will not do anymore. So I have been looking at pipe benders. I think the Harbor Freight will not work. One of the frames is 15 feet long with all the bends. I sure would like to find a used hydraulic bender out of a muffler shop but they are REAL hard to find. I can't use a manual type as I have no place to bolt it to the floor. anyone here got the hydraulic type of bend here. Any info on benders would be great . Thanks, Maybe start a bender group.

might also check into hydraulic conduit benders, we picked up one cheap and use it to bend most all the tubing on our buggy tube frame bends.

Are you really bending pipe or just tubing. They use different benders and dies.
Most tubing benders can not handle pipe and most pipe benders will crush tubing.

I will have to find out if I am using pipe or tubing

Agreed with SLK001, they have table top mounting versions. I have always wanted a bender, just seems like cheap ones crush the inside of the pipe. I've watched a lot of the over $1000 ones...super nice jobs. I'm sure that isn't what your looking for, but my point is, if it doesn't do a good job, I just go without.

Well it is 20 feet long and it has 6 bends in it. Being one person trying to use a HF bender on a 20 ft pipe would be really hard I think. But what the hell I know?
