Phase II 5C Collet Indexer - $120 (santa clara. CA)

I understand collet blocks and spindexers but I don’t understand how these are used.
Do they have predetermined stops or something similar?

Yes. I've forgotten what the increment is, but they have detents for indexing. Useful for milling (hexes, squares, etc.) or drilling at specific angles. IIRC, you can "mask" detents so it will only drop into the selected ones. Sort of like a super-spacer for small parts.
