OT Craigslist economics

I think I'm observing two trends. One is that the prices of machines have started to move up in the last 6 months. They had been pretty stable for past 4-5 years. The other is that I think I'm seeing fewer lathes and mills advertised. It's not as though there aren't any bargains around any more - see my post on the toolmakers scope - but the bargains aren't as frequent. What are you guys seeing around the country? I'm in central PA.
 
To me things/posts/prices seem to have been pretty stable in the last few years. didn't notice an increase in asking prices. and deals are just as they've always been - in between. that said - this is mostly related to old-iron

I do notice that newer (asian?) machine prices is increasing (Grizzly/Enco/HF/competitors), so maybe people buying newer machines and/or selling similar machines have their prices matched accordingly?
