On cribbing heavy loads

That is good. To add a bit, I was taught on dirt or gravel, the bottom two layers should be the 3x3, then the next ones can be the 2x2 configuration.
 
That 24K pounds rating for a 2x2 crib is WAY over rated in soft conditions. I’ve seen 24k punch that much weight into the ground in seconds.

The video is, of course, rating the cribbing only. It's not really a complete course, but more of an intro. it is very tough finding a complete video on the subject, however.
 
I used to think short 2x4s were for firewood only.
 
That’s a helpful video. I wish I’d seen it before I used trial and error for learning about stacking cribbing.… I‘d tried some search terms in YouTube but since I didn’t know what “cribbing” was called didn’t have much success

(I didn’t know wedges could be used for partial heights either.)
