going to have to do mine in the future my crossfeed has about a 1/4 turn of travel before the compound starts to move i've come accustom to it but it can be a pain lol:biggrin:

mine has the left hand acme threads i beleive there is a guy on ebay that gets 42.00 for the nuts and 72.00 for the rod

now when you thread yours do you use the power of the lathe or just turn the chuck by hand:thinking:
