Somewhere on the web( probably You-Tube), I saw an extension for a 4.5 inch angle grinder that looked like it could be handy
for getting into tight spots. In an hour on the lathe and mill, I had it done. Here's a couple photos of the project.
The threads on an angle grinder are 5/8 by 11 so easy to put together. I didn't measure the length but it is somewhere around 3 inches and made with
a piece of one inch diameter steel rod.
It's probably a good idea to hold on tight and do a bit of testing to get used to using it...
Here it is affixed to my Dewalt angle grinder. I machined a pair of slots to fit a 7/8 inch open end wrench for easy removal or install on the grinder.
