Somewhere on the web( probably You-Tube), I saw an extension for a 4.5 inch angle grinder that looked like it could be handy
for getting into tight spots. In an hour on the lathe and mill, I had it done. Here's a couple photos of the project. P1030936.JPG
The threads on an angle grinder are 5/8 by 11 so easy to put together. I didn't measure the length but it is somewhere around 3 inches and made with
a piece of one inch diameter steel rod.

It's probably a good idea to hold on tight and do a bit of testing to get used to using it...;)

As I was considering making the above extension, I thought that a D handle would be a great addition as well. When I was cutting up scrap with a 4" cutoff disk last summer, there were a few times when the disk hit my glove.

Here is my idea for the handle.
