Folks, sorry for a stupid question, I'm trying to figure out how to disassemble the head of the PM-25MV. I removed the drawbar, drawbar cap, C-clip and the whole quill assembly. Now I have just two pulleys on top, rotating on ball bearings, how do I get those out? There was a set screw on a large pulley, I removed it but still can't get any part moving. What am I doing wrong?
I need to reach the part #57 on the head components diagram. How do I get there?

Many thanks,

Eugene

Looking at the parts diagram, it appears to show 2 set screws (#'s 47 & 48) in the same hole on the pulleys. Which would imply that the outer set screw is a lock screw and the inner set screw is the set screw holding the pulley in place. So, did you remove both set screws?

Well, this is interesting, I also noticed there are two set screw on the diagram, but in my machine there's only one set screw. I'll take a look again...

The entire upper quill assembly, including the pulleys, comes out. You need to tap it out from the bottom up. I will see if I have a picture of it.

I tried, but no dice. It looks like the whole assembly, including the bearings, is press fit into the head casting, but I don't want to use too much force. I also sent email to the PM support, but they were unable to provide any specific instructions.
