Hi Folks,
I posted a new build (2024-06-09) to the Beta testing track. It has a new addition and a few fixes/improvements.

I posted a new build (2024-06-09) to the Beta testing track. It has a new addition and a few fixes/improvements.
The new addition is the "Adapter Details" dialog that let's you access some "hidden" TDA-4xx and TDK-40 adapter settings and functions (screenshot below).
In particular:
- Shows the adapter details (obviously)
- Adds "Reference Axis" command (TDA-4xx adapters) - tapping the "Reference" button will switch the axis readout into "reference" mode for 15 seconds. If during that time the reference pin changes state, the axis is zeroed out. If your DRO scales have a reference track, you can return the coordinate system to the same absolute 0 after power loss, etc.
- Adds "Zero Axis" command - zeroes out the encoder counter in the adapter (as opposed to the "set zero" function that just adds an offset in the app. This is useful if you have repeatable hard stops on the machine; this way you can always set the machine 0 to the same spot.
- Adds Input mode selection - TDA-4xx:
- On TDA-400 and 420 (starting with Firmware V3.2) you change the primary inputs to read BIN6 (Chinese scales/calipers, like Shahe, etc.) or Mitutoyo SPC (Mitutoyo scales or iGaging Absolute DRO+ scales). Note that voltage level shifters are required for most scales.
- On TDA-420 the two Aux inputs can be switched to Quadrature A/B or Limit Switch mode (the latter is basically like reference mode, but always on).
In addition:
- Completely retuned the "magic wand" function on the "Edge Finder" dialog. It is now much more sensitive to small movements.
- Fixed a tachometer bug that would retain the preset value with no way to clear it when the tachometer was set to sensor-driven mode
- Possibly fixed the bug where the feed rate would stop working after a while (not sure about that one; I have really hard time reproducing the bug in the first place).
