New (To Me) Atlas/Craftsman Lathe

Hello,

I'm new to the forum and just started in the most magnificent world of machining. I recently purchased a similar lathe as described above and will start the cleanup and restoration on mi free time. Merry Christmas!

There is no model plate or reference I can find but will continue this thread as the most similar I have seen. For now I can see the lathe crushed at some point and some pieces are missing and others bent or broken. With help from the forum I intent to get get it back from to working order and possibly do a few upgrades. For starters use a DC motor as the original motor did not come with the lathe.
