Hi,
Broke down and bought a new Mig Welder...

The old 30 year old Cebora 175 was getting to be a pain to run, and...

Admittedly, want to try a newer Inverter with Digital Controls...

Caught the BF Sale, and waiting for delivery! (free shipping, 3 year warranty!)

Congrats! I already have a HF 170 mig with "the mod", so I took advantage of the PrimeWeld BF sale to get a CT520DP plasma cutter with 200 amp tig welder. CAme Saturday, put it together today and made my first ever plasma cuts. Looking forward to the tig.

I have the same machine. Makes me look like a welding hero!

I have a good mig machine however I want a dedicated tig machine. Do any of you guys have any recommendations on one?

Just got a PrimeWeld MIG285. Looks like it'll be a nice unit but i haven't had a chance to use it yet. It's rather large at 26" long and i couldn't find a cart that it would fit on, let alone be happy with. So i have parts and pieces coming to use a 5 drawer rolling tool chest and will build a frame to hold the bottle off the back. I am trying to minimize the moving of the tank and such so i won't test it until i am building the cart! I can't wait to try the synergetic mode (also called Autoset) as i've heard that works great. I have a Lincoln 180 Dual that works quite well and is similar to the machine you purchased but i have ran into some things that a tad too thick to weld with it.

Primeweld again. I have their TIG225 and it’s a fantastic unit. They also have a TIG325 if you need more power.

I have an Everlast 325 Tig that's been great. (Cue someone to tell us all that Everlast sucks...)

I looked hard at Everlast but when I bought they were more expensive than Primeweld. What sold me on Primeweld is their legendary customer service.

Hi,
Thirty years ago my Cebora/Daytona Mig, was a few hundred dollars cheaper than a Lincoln or Miller...

The Cebora has been a good Welder but is getting old and running a little rough and I do not want to put any money into it.

A LOT of advances in Technology since then and will probably just scrap the Cebora and call it good!

I have a Miller Dial Arc 250 Stick for the bigger steel and she loves to burn a Rod!!!

,Hi,
Well the Prime Weld finally shipped...

No doubt slow because of the BF Sale...

Be interesting to know how many Machines Prime Weld moved with the Sale?

Of course other people are selling them too!
