I had to cut a new backplate for the three jaw, as mine was way out of TIR. I was frustrated while cutting it, as I couldn't turn more than about 8 thou at a time without stopping the motor. I was given a "dead" motor from someone that would fit the bill. New starting cap and a coat of paint and good as new. The 1.5HP will give me plenty of power, beats the 1/4 horse that was on it. Just an FYI, that motor is 145T frame, and it bolts right up to the mount no issues. Pulley came from tractor supply. I CAN do it Captain, I have the power!
