I have hooked up the new control board to the feed motor and have some questions about the way the motor operates. I have not run a Bridgeport so I don't know what I want it to do. TIA

Maybe I need to be more specific. When you turn on the power feed switch, does the motor run then or does it start when you switch the directional lever? I'm trying to figure out the operation of the micro switches to reverse the motor. From what I can tell on the switches, if you don't have them asjusted properly you could possibly connect F1 to F2 thru the swiches and ruin the board. Would this be correct?

Thanks for the reply dalee. So the micro switches actually run the motor thru the SECO board but not directly to the motor. I have to rethink how I'm going to reverse the motor without cross connecting F1 and F2 if I have a switch failure. I have room in the switchbox to install a pair of relays like used on outboard motors for trim. Thinking about something like that but 120 ac instead of 12 vdc. Thanks again.
